Honestly this is underselling how bad it was. It was more than just denial, it was a pre-emptive effort to lay the groundwork for the rhetorical battlefield when the invasion happened. Everyone who was saying that it wouldn't happen switched to 'actually it's good that it's happening' overnight.

Giving the Vinquibus the most orgasmic reload sound in the game and then having its core mechanic and passive ability be based around avoiding reloading by doing melee attacks is a level of cruelty I don't think I could ever forgive the Warframe developers for.

(one of my fav parts of the original post is “do we really need another grimy detective story” because as a fan of grimy detective stories I feel like I’m constantly struggling to find good ones while I can’t open up the steam store without seeing a million games called Witchfarm: A Cozy Sim)

I think it’s really important that when a game goes from fun daily tasks to actively becoming a chore to you that that’s when it’s time to drop those games
And for me, Star Rail and ZZZ have definitely reached that point so I’m going to stop playing them now, cause I’m not enjoying them anymore
