I think we're going to see a concerted effort by the DUP to constantly ramp up animosity as they further tie themselves to the far right over the coming months and this is going to seem like an irrelevance in comparison to some of it.

<div class="field field-field-text"><p>The NGO Network in Gaza on Tuesday said that the enclave remains under famine conditions, adding that the humanitarian aid that enters barely covers 30% of the needs, Al Jazeera Arabic reported. </p>
<p>The network said that Unrwa remains the backbone of humanitarian work in the sector.</p>
<p>Director of the UN Food Systems Coordination Centre Stefanos Fotiou on Tuesday called for the opening of crossings to facilitate the entry of aid into Gaza.</p>
<p>"We hope to seize the opportunity to rehabilitate the food system in Gaza. We call for the opening of the crossings to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza," Fotiou said. </p>
<p>According to the Gaza health ministry, the Israeli genocidal war has killed over 68,800 Palestinians since October 2023. Another 10,000 are missing, presumed dead.</p>
<p>Israel has committed close to 200 violations of the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on 10 October, the director of the government media office in Gaza said.</p>
<p>The UN secretary general’s deputy spokesperson has said that 81 percent of the enclave’s structures have suffered destruction, underscoring the catastrophic scale of Israel’s assault on Gaza, which has been recognised as a genocide by the UN.</p>
