Yesterday, I interviewed a tech guy who told me something too important for me to wait until the podcast comes out for you to hear it:

Many free AI detectors have especially high false positive rates because they make money selling software that "humanizes" writing. 1/2

I'm really praying someone starts playing "Baby Shark" on speaker, every time he is in public in non-emergent situations, as suggested by Radley Balko. Take the wind right out of his sails. "Baby Shark, doo-doo, doo-doo, doo-doo"

I fell like, if they're so enamored of war, they should be drafted into a hot zone somewhere where they can do it for real. Send some to one side, send others to the other side, and tell them whoever beats the other can keep it up, we'll send them more former ICE tankies to play. *laughs in Tepper*
We really need a fed law that makes it nearly impossible for federal law enforcement officers to dress like this. Not just the masks, all of it. And those who do cannot be dispatched absent some sort of statutorily-defined exigent circumstances, set at a high bar. No routine work like this. Ever.
Border Commander Greg Bovino stands outside a South Minneapolis gas station this morning with BORTAC officers in what seemed like an effort to draw more and more people to the scene as other agents shoot high resolution video of the crowd yelling and blowing whistles.

The excitement/hopefulness on Bluesky upon the initial reports of Air Force One turning around was probably nothing compared to what they felt in Davos.

Ok but like isn't this the second or third time Air Force One had to turn back during an Atlantic crossing. I know we all want it to be about Trump, but what if they forgot to pack Stephen Miller in the earth of his homeland, and had to turn back before crossing the water?

everybody calm down, air force one had to turn around because president trump accidentally flushed his tie down the toilet and his face is pinned to the seat. he's panicked and squealing. karoline leavitt tried to help but she transforms into a bat after 10pm and can't lift him with her tiny wings.

If we all start going "That isn't Donald Trump, that's clearly a body double" I bet we can make everyone in the White House lose their minds within a week. But we have to _commit_ to it.

I have a job interview this week and i think I'm going to have to stop following the news or social media from now until then. Like, how are we supposed to act normal to strangers in this environment? I do not want to discuss company culture, I want to know if you have an anti-ICE plan.

Dang. I was just saying this the other day. Trump doesn't pay his bills. Why would his pet army act any differently?
3. ICE’s failure to pay its bills for months has caused some medical providers to deny services to ICE detainees, an administration source told Popular Information. In other cases, detainees have allegedly been denied essential medical care by ICE.
