This is rapidly becoming true in academia too.

There's firm opposition in the humanities, but I fear we're being overwhelmed by administrators who've already bought the pitch and by our colleagues in technical fields who sincerely think it's something their students need to learn how to use.

i think that it’s time to accept that things are never going to go back to the way they were—even in 2024. the only way to fully recover from this most likely will be to rebuild the country and all of its laws and systems from the ground up and have unified resistance against fascism.
