I fully agree: the EU and the UK need to forge a common future. It's just very hard for us to trust the British political and media class again after the appalling things they did before, around and after Brexit. There has been next to zero apology, let alone contrition.
Tempted to block those who blame solely the UK for struggling relations with the EU, because such absolutism is part of the problem. Only through recovering the art of consensus will Europe recover its confidence.

Oh. Look what our bestest friend ever and closest ally is doing now. Gosh, aren't we lucky to have such a special relationship with these chaps. Thank god we left that oppressive EU so we are free to kiss the US' arse. It is a privilege to kiss that arse, I say!
A reminder for those who are not aware: "remigration" is the process of deporting all non-white people from a country. It includes citizens and is, by definition, ethnic cleansing.

And to be clear: this is not fake. I just screenshot it myself.

What do these corporations have in common?

Netflix
Ford
Tesla
T-Mobile
Duke Energy
DISH Network
Metlife
Dominion Energy
United States Steel

In recent years, they all paid their execs more than they paid in taxes.

This is what a corporate-rigged system looks like.

Fewer workers. Fewer international students. More people leaving.

A "step in the right direction" according to the PM.

Impossible to take PM/govt seriously on growth if they are deliberately reducing it (and making the fiscal position worse) *as a matter of policy*.

Anyway from now on we can all legitimately call Reform the "Black Shirts" - given they're flogging them to their actual members.

What an own goal!

Geddit?
It takes a special kind of right-wing British political party to literally sell black shirts.

Are you going to tell them?

Or shall I?

If international migration is so bad for us, so deleterious to local communities, why are we so relaxed about migration from one part of the UK to another? Isn't that also stealing jobs, causing community change and disruption?

At *exactly* the same time, unions and biz groups were in DBT negotiating this climb down
NEW - the government poised to water down flagship workers rights bill, ditching day one rights to unfair dismissal but reducing qualifying period from two years to six months.

But in concession to unions, government will remove provisions for up to nine months probation.
