Not sure if they realize it yet, but the ubiquity of AI replication will probably make human performance, creation, and curation all the more valuable. We just happen to be at the part of the K shape graph where it sucks to be human. If everything is special, nothing is. Why would there be demand?

If you are running as a leftist candidate, this should be a very easy 1-2 punch of "Big corporations don't care about people and want to replace you with AI" and "therefore, it's more important than ever to fortify our social safety net and they be the ones should funding it"
I understand why people are exhausted by AI hype, and why those of us squarely in the corner of "human dignity uber alles" see AI doomerism as self-serving hype, but I *really* think people on the left broadly need to start thinking seriously about the possibiltiy of the hype being...true.

production of The Muppet Show should not be dependent on petty vulgarities like “ratings” or “revenue.” it should be preserved as a vital function of american culture. it should have a taxpayer-funded budget rivaling the CIA

Won't judge anyone who likes Cenk, but I personally can't respect a journalist who sits down with someone like Tucker Carlson, and refuses to ask questions like "Why haven't you k***** y******* yet?"

In Mario Party, landing on a Bowser Space while having no coins or stars normally results in Bowser taking pity on the players' bad fortune and giving them free coins instead. However, there has sadly been a trend of Bowser becoming steadily less compassionate over time, as shown by this graph.
Here is the original draft federal indictment of Jeffrey Epstein for sex trafficking that was prepared by federal prosecutors in 2007, but ultimately tossed aside by Alex Acosta's office to allow Epstein to plea to a much lesser state charge.
