I posted this right as the States invaded Venezuela. I don't like that I seem to have captured the zeitgeist of 2026 with a soundbite that has been said countless times
We collectively died of COVID in 2020 and this is hell
so x dot com’s ai generated CSAM and they admitted it may violate US law and … i haven’t seen in anyone in power say much at all or call to stop using the platform

My winter break hyperfixiation has been Rebecca’s Pink Rainbow Chinese takeaway in Scottland. Her logo is a bitmoji. Everything is drowned in this weird motor oil “gravy.” She talks like a muppet. All the comments are Americans going “what part of China is this from” like crab rangoons are authentic

I like that people are deliberating over this very seriously, as though Ricky Ross died 5 years ago and we can only consult him on this matter via Ouija board
The line 'the kids all call him Bogey,' in Deacon Blue's Ship Called Dignity is an anachronistic cultural reference in that no way would kids playing in the street in 1987 be making reference to a long-dead film star from the 1940s. It ruins an otherwise good and uplifting song.

there are a lot of older autistic buckaroos, like myself, who were diagnosed decades ago, and while i see some folks in the community roll their eyes or gatekeep about idea of autism self-diagnosis becoming so common in young buds, i love this movement. it takes nothing away from me or my identity

This country is awash with money. The very rich are rich beyond imagination. So when Starmer wants to stay within his arbitrary fiscal rules, who does he decide to take money from? The very rich? No, from people with disabilities who depend on benefits for the bare minimum of a decent life.
