On #DiadelosMuertos the UFW wants to honor the martyrs of La Causa who gave us the most precious gift they possessed — their very lives. Nan, Nagi, Juan, Rufino, and René are very special human beings. We will never let the sacrifice they made for us be forgotten.

Okay, I went back out tonight with a clearer sky and the knowledge that I gained last night and took what I think is a much better picture of Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon).
I'm quite happy with this one.

12% of Americans rely on SNAP to eat. 40% of those are children.
Starting Nov 1, we will be starving our own citizens, including children. And the GOP is OK with that.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.
The people who need help are not the problem.
It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.

Food insecurity is ALWAYS a political choice. Famine is ALWAYS manmade. People go hungry because of other people’s decisions. We have more than enough food for everyone, and enormous amounts of it are wasted—literally thrown in the garbage—on purpose.
