Gift link to my argument in favor of teaching works of "serious literary value" in public schools: slate.com/life/2025/05...
This Year, We All Realized That Kids Aren’t Reading Books in School. Only the Right Is Offering a Solution.
Common Core and the College Board are my enemies. But the classical education movement is not my friend.

The framing in The Daily today is insane. "Trump administration is penalizing dissent by withholding research funding" is presented as "Harvard has a problem" instead of "We're living in an autocracy and we all have a problem"

Dismantling the Department of Education has nothing to do with improving outcomes for our kids, it’s simply about taking away resources from our public schools.

ANYWAY, did you know there's an extension you can put on Chrome that will connect with your local library system and when you go look at a book, say on AMZ, it will tell you if that book exists in the library system and if it's available?

It's literally called Library Extension.
