And keep in mind Gawker's entire argument was that because people were celebrities, that made their sex lives, and any media pertaining to it, a matter of public interest and thus newsworthy. A truly repugnant position, even then. That lawsuit ended the era of private nudes as public spectacle.

No, Virginia. Gawker *wasn't* spiked because of Epstein reporting. Thiel backed Hogan's lawsuit because Gawker fucking outed Thiel's sexuality just to piss him off. He was in Saudi Arabia at the time, where that was a death penalty offense. Let's not pretend Gawker were in any way the good guys here

I bet a candidate could do well with “yeah, I said some awful things online when I was younger, but I see why it was wrong, and I’m familiar with extremist spaces online, how young men get radicalized by them, and what we can do about it.”

Very annoying that we are in for a new round "look at this prestige film that didn't use any CGI" discourse which will ignore all of the actual CGI work that people ignore is CGI work because it doesn't fit the PR definition of CGI.
