Light just went out in my part of Kyiv - and so the usual routine starts - we switch to blackout lightning : lights on the kitchen - check, bathroom light - check, the Christmas lights in the room - check. No talking , just switching everything on. It’s a routine now.

I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

As a result of a UAV strike, a fire broke out in a non-residential building in one of the districts of the capital. Debris also fell near a residential building. The blast wave shattered windows in nearby buildings. Damage to educational institutions has also been reported.
