We’re entering the age of AI slop that people believe en masse.

This post is 100% fake and probably AI generated. All made up. Yet massive number of upvotes, views and shares.

Journalist @caseynewton.bsky.social got in touch with the “whistleblower.” The guy faked all “evidence” with AI…

Time to share my top 4 games of the year! Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 is easily my GOTY. I was really invested in those characters. Lies of P: Overture was just amazing. I actually liked the gooner game Stellar Blade. Fragile Dreams was a solid Wii survival horror-ish with atmosphere.

Had FOMO bad Christmas Eve while finishing gift shopping. With everyone talking about RAM prices and video cards skyrocketing in price, I picked up a Leigon gaming desktop with an RTX 5070 and 32 gb of RAM that was on sale. I assumed a prebuilt would be easy and I’d play games ever break, but no…

Glad to be home after a relaxing family weekend retreat of fighting, people leaving for home early, and lots of crying. Merry Christmas! Next year, I'm celebrating abroad!

Anna's Archive backed up Spotify: 86 million songs in 300TB representing roughly 99.6% of listens, the metadata alone is 4TB compressed https://annas-archive.org/blog...
Backing up Spotify
We backed up Spotify (metadata and music files). It’s distributed in bulk torrents (~300TB). It’s the world’s first “preservation archive” for music which is fully open (meaning it can easily be mirrored by anyone with enough disk space), with 86 million music files, representing around 99.6% of listens.

I've been playing the Analogue 3D w/ an Everdrive x7 for a while and all the problems I've encountered I've been able to get past.

Banjo Kazooie games don't need patched ROMs anymore. Unpatched ones work fine.

I say this with zero irony: if you are even tangentially a part of a retro video game community, it is your civic duty to push back against this company and shun anyone who doesn't. This is fascism tapping gently at the door and as soon as you let it in, it's going to invite its friends.
