The kids at Cornell, Columbia, Perdue, UChicago, Harvard, etcetera are all almost uniformly more pro-Palestine and friendlier to LGBTQ people than they can comprehend and it scares them. Unfortunately it scares them enough that they seem to have been willing to accept Trumpian suppression of speech.

As a queer woman from the midwest with a soon-to-be wife, I can see us in Renee and her partner and I am devastated. ICE uses a racist fiction of defending white Americans from violent lies about our immigrant neighbors. The reality is that most people in America need defending from ICE.

Starmer's Labour brings us a kind of socialism... which is of course not socialism because Labour basically only exists to serve capital and defend the ruling class... and it's very nationalistic. Is there a name for this kind of non-socialist "socialist" nationalism? Hmm.
