Russia continues to answer diplomacy with missiles.
We are determined to make that choice painfully expensive.

Today, we present our 20th sanctions package.

Sanctions severely hurt Russia’s economy.
And every sanction chips away at its capacity for war. (1/9)

Russian terror bombing of Ukraine continues. Ukraine's allies donate generators but not long range missiles to strike Russia's capacity to terrorize. Western media ignore the humanitarian disaster altogether.
Ukraine was rocked by a massive overnight Russian assault, with hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles slamming into the country’s energy system.

Rescue and recovery operations are continuing across the country.

This week, Europe has a historic opportunity, and duty, to finally designate the Iranian regime's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organisation.

This is more than symbolic. This matters.

Trump will lap this up. Europe has to assume that as long as Trump is in the White House, it will face a Trump-Putin partnership determined to divide and conquer Europe (Trump will divide; Putin will conquer - if they're allowed to).

"If Trump annexes Greenland by July 4 2026, when America celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, he will go down in history as a figure who asserted the greatness of the United States" writes Rossiyskaya Gazeta…1/

Trump tariffing countries over Greenland is a test. If Europe just swallows it and tries to move on, it increases the odds of the WH thinking it can seize Greenland without consequences. Europe therefore has to respond.

Research suggests not, writes @saskiabr.bsky.social for Democracy Without Exception. In polarized contexts, voters rarely cross partisan divides to rebuke autocratic policy.
