Well we still wound up in the same place
Still holding out hope for Framber or Ranger (like a dumbass).

Talking myself into Zac Gallen.

Mentally preparing for the #Orioles to sign Zack Littell.

Every. Goddam. Offseason.
I liked the Shane Baz trade. But the Orioles don't need a could-be ace. They need an established one, and they once again aren't getting one. I don't see how anyone can give Elias's offseason anything better than a C, and I wouldn't argue if you gave him an F

Mike Elias scrolled Twitter this morning and saw that everyone was mad at him for not making the team better so he decided to remind us he could always make it worse

Just going off the headline here but... MAY miss out? Pretty sure Elias missed out.
The Orioles entered the offseason with a clear goal. "We’re trying to find, whether it’s ‘top’ or ‘front’ or ‘top half’ of the rotation, all those buckets," Mike Elias said.

By missing out on Framber Valdez and others, the Orioles may miss out on a major goal: www.thebanner.com/sports/oriol...
Analysis: The Orioles’ inability to sign a top starter could sully a productive winter
Two sources said Baltimore has been engaged with Zac Gallen this winter, and Gallen could be a strong bounce-back candidate after posting the worst season of his career.

Jeff Bezos laying off hundreds of journalists days after debuting his $75 million fluff documentary about Melania Trump (directed by a sex pest) is craven but instructive: billionaires are not saviors and should not exist.

always bears repeating that this is NOT a financial decision. jeff bezos is worth over 250 billion dollars. he can afford to lose many millions and never even notice it. this is, at its core, a political and personal decision by bezos to destroy the post

It’s saddening and maddening to watch what’s happening at the Washington Post today.

The staffers there and their readers everywhere deserve better than these shortsighted decisions and the mismanagement that led to them.

Murray says the Post will be closing the sports department “in its current form.” The paper plans to retain several reporters to join features and cover sports as a “cultural and societal phenomenon,” and will have a few employees on its print sports section.
