No matter what happens tonight, I hope Elias and Rubenstein are both thinking they need to spend money this offseason.
Kiké Hernandez looks like Mitch Hedberg
Yes, yes and fucking a, YES!
The Orioles should be able to absorb the salaries of one of the top FA starters (30-35M) and a high leverage reliever like Raisel Iglesias or Ryan Helsley (12-14M) and still have 30-50M left for other moves.

That should really be the baseline for this winter. No good excuse not to do that + depth.
'The O's have one of the richest owners in baseball, buuuuut he's not expected to act like it.'

This is not a sane way to run a professional MLB team and nobody should pretend it is.
I'm convinced this is a good hire. I think I feel better about this than I would have if the #Orioles hired someone like Ryan Flaherty or Albert Pujols... But nobody can convince me that this paragraph makes ANY goddam sense.

Will also note, Vogt has talked about the two of them constantly strategizing, gameplanning, etc., and that running the team was as much Albernaz as it was himself.

He's been behind the scenes a bit. But, to say he doesn't have managerial experience is really a bit inaccurate.
Read this article and now i fully support this. Can we give this guy a good pitching staff, please? #Orioles
Craig Albernaz was a finalist for both the Marlins & White Sox manager openings last year, but ultimately decided to return to Cleveland as his friend Stephen Vogt’s assistant manager.

A year later, he has apparently decided that the Baltimore Orioles are the right fit.

I can’t believe I’m watching Seranthony Dominguez pitch in the World Series
Sure?
Orioles have expressed interest in hiring Albert Pujols as their new manager, per @Alden_Gonzalez
Yeaaa I'd much rather get blown out
Ive been trying to put myself in Phillies fans shoes and imagine the Orioles season ending on a throwing error with 2 outs in the bottom of the 11th and it’s making me sick for them

this clip was engineered in a lab to achieve the maximal amount of humiliation for the Yankees
Vladdy: "DAAAAAA YANKEES LOSE!"
Yes. Don’t fire Boone or Cashman. In fact, extend them. And let them figure it out. Lifetimes contracts. Long live Boone and Cashman!
The Yankees need to make some changes.

Firing Aaron Boone or Brian Cashman shouldn't be among them, Ken Rosenthal writes.

I very much enjoy watching a team that is not the Yankees celebrate eliminating the Yankees in front of Yankees fans at Yankee Stadium
Having an abundance of *good* starting pitching
So having an abundance of starting pitching is advisable.

Take note Orioles.
Plus … yes, had to write about why the Dodgers should be working harder to dodge their actual relief pitchers. bandwagon.substack.com/p/80-paranoi...
I’d like to request more sad Aaron Judge face please
OK now it's the #Orioles' turn
Mets are turning over a significant portion of their coaching staff
This is the most innovative show of the year
The #Orioles should sign Bob Melvin AND Bruce Bochy
Waaaaaaait a minute... Tom Brady has a newsletter?
Fox broadcaster and Raiders minority owner Tom Brady wrote about his multitude of football roles in his weekly newsletter.

"It is very easy to watch a person’s passions and profession intersect, and to believe you’re looking at some sort of dilemma."
