Papers do intentionally publish/kill/obfuscate stories, sometimes in a way that constitutes journalism malpractice. That’s not a conspiracy, it’s a combination of bias and capitulation. Again, you can be mad about something without making stuff up.

In my experience, you shed some people, but keep others. It sifts away people who genuinely treasure you from those that are just using you.
okay but what if i've been mediating my personality through acts of service to others for so long that that's what makes me endearing and as i slowly begin to want things for myself i feel less, like, safe, or fun to be around, or like not as good somehow and wind up being less than i think i am

Just watched two men beat the shit out of each other on broadway outside Annapurna. Both accusing the other of stealing a phone.
Winner walked off while 3 Seattle cops just stared at the other, who was pleading for help. No one did anything. The guy just walked away.
