Idk who said it during Trump 1 (I think it was Matt christman?) but the idea that you could get Trump to support universal healthcare if they called it TrumpCare and his company got a cut somehow is still very much alive.

Papers do intentionally publish/kill/obfuscate stories, sometimes in a way that constitutes journalism malpractice. That’s not a conspiracy, it’s a combination of bias and capitulation. Again, you can be mad about something without making stuff up.
