A manager for the Immigrant Defense Network told MPR News that back in November, 2,500 people were trained as constitutional observers. Now, the total is nearly 30,000 trained observers in 77 of Minnesota's 87 counties.

I don’t think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.

My representative should be on tv showing clips of this shit to everyone every fucking night until this bullshit ends. We are being fucking abandoned by our state and federal representatives.
Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.

this is probably too-nuanced a take for social media, but i have been thinking that a *lot* of politicians did not run initially thinking they'd serve during a dictatorship. Like this was not actually the job they wanted/said they could do, and they are wholly unprepared to meet the moment 1/
