Hearing fgc guys who quit after sf4 talk is gas, they're always telling tales like "yeah man I was hot shit back in the day. I got 5th in a 9 man bracket with close wins over Blind Joe and Two Thumbs Tommy. I played daigo in tournament and managed to successfully plug my controller into the console"

showed old siskel and ebert eps to stream recenrtly and the younger folks couldnt believe it. ie "theyre so mean to each other, it is amazing". professional cattiness backed up by critical lathe. knocked their socks off. hard to replicate. we got smart critics but are they bitchy enough, i dont know
