Since the American Gestapo doesn’t like us calling them the Gestapo, I did this thread with comparisons to other authoritarian terror groups in other times and places.
Homeland Security doesn’t like it when we call ICE and Border Patrol “the Gestapo.”

It's all so "she made me do it" blaming the victim, and this iteration closely echoes a previous admin. one. Rhetoric justifies bloodshed in this frame, and his rhetoric uses the passive tense/vagueness to avoid saying 'we will shed blood.'

JFC. Schumer actively works to NOT get it. You cannot "reform" ICE. As someone else wrote, the correct response to Dachau was not "better training for the guards." ICE, CBP, and DHS need to be abolished and their lawless thug squads arrested and prosecuted, along with their entire leadership.
