so the arrest of Don Lemon is a 5 alarm fire attack on the free press part of the First Amendment which also can extend to anyone who happens to film and post an event that upsets Trump

it'll be interesting to see who fights to protect having a free press and who does not

For all the discussion of doxxing federal agents, there’s essentially no discussion of how those agents are taking steps that attach severe punitive measures that stretch across wide swaths of the federal bureaucracy against people acting lawfully.
A Minnesota woman observing ICE agents in her car was cornered on one-way streets. An agent approached, called her by name—citing facial recognition. Days later, her Global Entry and TSA privileges were revoked, with no explanation.

For those unaware, Georgia has a medium sized Instagram account, but the reel about the church protest garnered a massive 8.8 million views. www.instagram.com/reel/DTqqE2N...
Don Lemon is not the only reporter who was arrested by federal agents overnight — local independent journalist Georgia Fort just went live on FB to say federal agents were also at her door to take her into custody over her protest coverage in Minneapolis.

it’s not just don lemon — they’re treating the journalists who were informed in advance about the action, so that they report on it, as accomplices
Minnesota based Independent Journalist GEORGIA FORT has been arrested for filming a protest of the church pastor that works as an ICE manager. SPREAD THE WORD! Georgia has been doing outstanding reporting from ground zero!

As a veteran who’s deployed, I know exactly what “in theater” means. It’s a military term for operations in foreign countries. Using it to describe Minneapolis isn’t accidental…and I can’t overemphasize how dangerous that language shift is.

This is five year old Liam Ramos. If you pull the little strings on his hat the bunny ears flop. It is the saddest thing. He’s just a baby and they used him and locked him up. He’s still being detained. For shame.

“In theater” in Minneapolis…

Never again let a Republican tell you they are for “limited government.”

Laugh in their faces.

I cannot stress how completely bizarre & unheard of it is for the DNI to be personally present for a search warrant execution, never mind this one.
“.. U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard speaks on the phone while standing inside a vehicle loaded with boxes outside the Fulton County Election Hub and Operation Center after the FBI executed a search warrant there.”

Two Black politicians have been physically attacked in the last week.

Just finished teaching about the birth of the Klan and its concerted efforts to intimidate Black voters and elected officials during Reconstruction through violent terror.

History will see this so very clearly.

They didn't think we would. We do.

a political party that had responded in 2024 to “mass deportation” calls by proposing an alternative humane path to citizenship sure would be well-positioned right now huh? theyd probably look really smart and empathetic. would look like the only party who lived in reality and know whats going on

Auschwitz was at the end of a process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred gradually developed: from ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.
