I don't have an interest in the Horses game, but I find it unsettling that Steam and Epic (and now Humble) is just banning it for dubious reasons. It's almost like this game is being singled out.
Horses isn't the first game to have disturbing content, and it won't be the last.

I've basically given up on finding work in the industry for this reason.
The people who are getting let go and looking for work have much more experience than I do, so I feel like I don't have a chance. The only option that's available to me is not something I can rely on for steady income.

I can't emphasize this enough: If you're struggling to find work in games, you're not the only one and please don't blame yourself. The horrible state of the industry is unprecedented. The crash in the 80s and the recession in the late 2000s weren't as rough as this. There are so few opportunities.
