Feels really under discussed that AIPAC has had multiple Democratic members of Congress they endorsed and fundraised for as recently as 2024 turn around and change positions immediately.

Maxine Dexter is one of them, cosponsoring Tlaib's resolution to recognize the Israeli genocide on Gaza.
Tlaib Introduces Resolution Recognizing the Genocide of the Palestinian People in Gaza
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (MI-12), alongside 20 other Members of Congress, introduced H.Res.876 – Recognizing the Genocide of the Palestinian People in Gaza. This resolutio...

I feel like there's a very short list of corporations so evil & powerful, that filing a potent & actionable whistleblower complaint to the US gov could somehow results in less regulation of that corporation, directly due to that tip. Apple's on that list. www.reuters.com/sustainabili...

Just so it’s clear, Cook would be in prison if he lived in Saudi Arabia
Tim Cook, the head of Apple, is having a nice dinner with MBS, who regularly orders executions, including for tweets.

Apple hosts "a Saudi app that allows men to track the movement of their wives and daughters. In 2019, Mr. Cook said he would investigate the app, but it is still available today."

Yes, there was a time when the consensus opinion was that strangers should be able to find your phone number and address, and you had to pay extra to have an "unlisted" number.
In my experience many youngish people are stunned that there may have been a big (or several big) books delivered to your home which listed your name, address and phone number.

I feel like a lot of democrats are engaged in a very big project to make us forget that the Biden administration and Harris 2024 campaign were mostly about fixing bridges
Speaking at a Texas Tribune Festival on Friday, former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg criticized the Democratic Party for failing to reach everyday Americans, arguing that it “got sucked in” to a conversation about identity. #TribFest25
Pete Buttigieg critiques Democrats for focus on identity
The former U.S. transportation secretary said the Democratic Party should focus more on issues gripping the country, such as health care and housing affordability.

Furious Liberals Call for Schumer to Step Aside, Senate Dems Mostly Quiet
After their shutdown surrender, liberal lawmakers are begging their base to unite behind them anyway – as Trumpland celebrates that their opposition is a bunch of 'p*ssies.'

Ghislaine Maxwell's prison emails show she is 'happier' at minimum-security Texas facility
Maxwell, a convicted sex offender connected to Jeffrey Epstein, was moved to a less restrictive federal prison this summer. Congress is investigating allegations of special treatment.

After yesterday’s surrender, we’re launching the largest Democratic primary program that we’ve ever run.

We will not back any Senate primary candidate unless they call for Schumer to step down as Minority Leader.

If you’re as pissed as we are, join this campaign to rebuild the Democratic Party. 👇
Democratic leaders have failed us again. It's time to get new leaders.
After yet another capitulation by Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats, it's clear we need new leadership capable of mounting a serious opposition to Trump's authoritarian regime. We're launching our la...

It's important to point out that this is openly fascist and authoritarian and thus extremely dangerous to the civil society of the country while also pointing out that the lack the manpower both at a law enforcement and legal level to carry this out at scale.
Pretty crazy how "America is a legit, no bullshit fascist country" is now a NYT headline.
