“Grindhouse” double feature on opening night in a college town.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

well it was more than a decade ago but tom cruise in tropic thunder
This is a fun question—best “serious” actor in a comedic role of the last decade?
It’s so much easier for comic actors to do drama than vice versa. Look at Jim Carrey in Eternal Sunshine or Truman Show, and then look at De Niro’s comedies, they’re terrible

as a catholic i cannot begin to understand why anyone thinks it's a good idea to challenge nuns. they will defeat you. they are afraid of nothing.
NEW: The Trump-Vance White House has falsely accused an ally of Pope Leo — Sr. Norma Pimentel — of illegal activity tied to migrant aid, and cut off all federal funding to Catholic Charities in Texas.

Church leaders say it’s a targeted, political reprisal against Pope Leo and the Catholic Church.
Trump-Vance White House Targets Beloved Nun in Texas, Retaliates Against Catholic Charities
Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley — praised by Pope Leo as an “agent of hope” — now faces a six-year federal funding ban. Church leaders say it’s a vendetta by the Trump-Vance White House.

In the 30 seasons for which we have play-by-play data, the record for most games led by at least 30 points is 18 (2016-17 Warriors).

The Thunder have led 10 of their 25 games by 30+.

Just saw a billboard calling Shen Yun an “unforgettable experience” and from a literal standpoint I can’t think of a better example of truth in advertising.

People talk about how the Thunder squeaked by last season against the Nuggets and Pacers ... but also, they were a couple of plays away in two very weird Game 1s from winning both series in 5 games. Would have finished the playoff run 16-3. I doubt Daigneault coaches himself out of games again.
