Dems should introduce legislation now defunding ICE and CBP operations in Minnesota, so they have to leave the state. One sentence bill. Demand an immediate vote. Maybe refuse to vote for cloture on any funding bills (or other bills) until a vote. Make the GOP Congress break w/ Trump or own it all.

If anyone expects anything to change at this point, it’s not going to happen without changes across the board and that includes Chuck Schumer. We have real Democrats in the Senate. They have the power to change leadership at any time, and that needs to happen immediately.

I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

It’s almost like the private insurance industry is a corrupt system with perverse profit incentives that are antithetical to treatment and care of far too many illnesses. If only there was some other, say, “public option” to put downward pressure on them. Where have I heard that idea before?
