You know how Garland had no interest in prosecuting Trump? On the day he was sworn in, he had ten fully investigated and ready-to-charge obstruction cases documented by Mueller.

Instead he let the SoL run out.

The reason this stuff wrecked the prosecution is that they were racing to get it done in time, and the reason they were racing to get it done in time was because Garland spent years not even investigating or planning to take legal action against Trump for anything he did in office.

Biden was a good president but he failed at his most important task by letting Trump win again in 2024. This failure has and will do irreparable hard to our country.

Ya, this is huge too, and often ignored. Biden/Garland totally failed to prosecute Trump for ANY of his many pre-J6 crimes. Even those that were already well documented and investigated, like the Mueller obstruction of justice events.

One of the astounding aspects of Christian nationalism is how deeply embedded race is to the concept. I always come back to this finding:

When asked if racial or religious diversity is more likely to hinder national unity, folks who embrace CN are more likely to pick racial diversity.

Did a deep dive into the crosstabs for today's NYT poll. Couple of things stick out to me:

- Only 60% of Trump voters strongly approve of his performance

- 70% of all respondents say economy is either Poor or Fair 👀

- 64% somewhat or strongly disapprove of Trump's handling of the cost of living

A business can REFUSE SERVICE to anyone for any reason.

You should remember that from Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission SCOTUS case.

The thesis that Democrats are unpopular is utterly unsupported by current data.

Please kick people who keep saying it.
And this is the big one for me:

- Respondents were asked what they thought what the most important issue facing this country. Among respondents over 65, the most common answer was "Trump/Republicans" 🔥🔥🔥

Will be curious what sticks out to others:

A great deal of people think “this isn’t America” bc they are so busy consoling themselves with the ideals of what should be and what could be that they refuse to see WHAT IS. And you cannot fix what is without speaking the truth of it.
