Since the start of Trump’s second term, his mass deportation agenda has targeted the very ppl who have worn our uniform or lovingly raised those who do. Remember days after his inauguration, ICE raided a NJ seafood business and detained a US military veteran of Puerto Rican heritage👇🏽 #VeteransDay
The Trump administration’s #VeteransDay message: Thank you for your service. Now get out.

Trump's mass deportation machine is betraying America’s veterans and tearing their families apart:

Democracy kinda depends on voters hearing accurate facts and analysis more than they hear made up nonsense, and that’s kinda sort of an issue
The actual finding here is that a huge percentage of the population believes things that are not true. Democrats objectively did not spend significant time on climate change or LGBTQ issues in the last election campaign.
Duh. Those of us on the ground last year actually speaking with middle class/working class voters and who heard from these voters every single day the same - “Trump is an asshole, but Democrats are out of touch” - could’ve saved my new political party a lot of time & money producing this “report.”👇

After yesterday’s surrender, we’re launching the largest Democratic primary program that we’ve ever run.

We will not back any Senate primary candidate unless they call for Schumer to step down as Minority Leader.

If you’re as pissed as we are, join this campaign to rebuild the Democratic Party. 👇
Democratic leaders have failed us again. It's time to get new leaders.
After yet another capitulation by Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats, it's clear we need new leadership capable of mounting a serious opposition to Trump's authoritarian regime. We're launching our la...

A leader would not have lost eight colleagues tonight. This happened because you let it happen or because you’ve totally lost control of the caucus in one of the most important moments since you’ve been Democratic leader. Either way, it’s on you. You need to step down. We need someone who can lead.
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

Ugh - so disgusting
Important to understand this. There's a reasonable chance that your Dem Senator who voted against it and is acting mad now was in on the play. It's the same reason why they scheduled the surrender for AFTER the election this week. They didn't want people pissed at Dems right before an election.
The caucus meeting was just to orchestrate who would fall on the sword but not be up for a vote in 2026.

Yes, thank you Bruce Hilpert. This really pulls it all together in an extremely sharp letter. That last sentence is a killer: "Increasing our deficit to fund billionaires' lavish lifestyles sure sounds like waste, fraud, and abuse to me."
Congratulations Bruce Hilpert on your excellent Letter to the Editor in today's Arizona Daily Star! There is no excuse for US House Republicans to allow Americans to go hungry just to feed their oligarch donors' lifestyles.

Thune and his colleagues, of course, have piously pledged over and over that they will never touch the filibuster, something they used over and over when Biden was president. Democrats who blocked change, including Manchin and Sinema, took that as gospel. Some of us knew better. 2
