A small but specific example of why we need regional games media - I wanted to find out how Simon the Sorcerer Origins turned out, and Eurogamer and Nintendo Life delivered. Don't think many non-UK outlets have touched this!

30 years later, I've finally played a Simon the Sorcerer game - was it always this naff?
Cult favourite Monkey Island-alike Simon the Sorceror returns all these years later with a pretty yet decidedly naff prequel. But maybe that's the point?
