I'm thinking about the usher last night who came to where I was seated in the front row to give me a programme and said, "Please enjoy the concert, ma'am."
I bet he felt silly when I stood up with my baton and started conducting because I didn't see him after that.
I did enjoy the show!

It won't stop there with these people. Eventually, these people are going to try to get rid of the Welsh Language Acts and say it's to keep Britain "culturally coherent".

The other day my students told me that professors were saying "6-7" now (I still don't know what that is meant to mean), and I said, "Well, I don't."
They answered, "Thank goodness. Please, never do that."
They answered, "Thank goodness. Please, never do that."
I referred to an irreparably broken thing as “cooked” when my 14yo was in the room, and he calmly asked me never to do that again

Since having one sabbath still translates to a two-day weekend, I guess I'm suggesting a four-day weekend here. That makes sense. You should be resting more days than you're working, dēgōmes.
If I were in charge, I would have mandated THREE days of rest per seven day period.
