Kemi bad-enoch named Terry Pratchett as her favourite author but the philosophy in his stories are the exact opposite of what she espouses. How can she have this cognitive dissonance #kemibadenoch #wtf

From now on, almost every GP practice in England will offer online consultations.

It was my great pleasure to speak to @tessadevereaux.bsky.social of @soaspolitics.bsky.social about the crisis in #Mali. Somehow I miss-attributed her affiliation as LSE - a fine institution, but given that her expertise is on African politics, it's not surprise that she works @soasuni.bsky.social.
In Mali's capital, the city is surrounded by militants from an Al-Qaeda affiliate. But would the fall of a Russian-backed military govt be worse? And is this inevitable result of cutting aid to the world's poorest nations?
I spoke to Tessa Deveraux of #LSE.

Farage forgets that his own team are mostly a bunch of Tory has beens…

Danny Kruger, Nadine Dorries, Jonathan Gullis, Pochin, Berry, Anderson could surely answer for the lies he accuses them of?

The Angliolini report on the heartbreaking murder of Sarah Everard is concerning reading for anyone wanting to restore trust in policing, and fight violence against women and girls.

I asked the Minister what the Govt can learn from the report to deliver on our target of halving #VAWG

It is not normal for the media to dictate who stays and who goes in politics by hounding someone out of office.

It is not normal for the media’s national pastime to be How to bring down my own Country’s government.

This isn’t a step too far it’s a world too far.

- The PDF was live on the OBR site from 11:30am - an hour before Rachel Reeves delivered the Budget

- The PDF was reachable by taking the Spring Statement PDF URL and swapping "March" for "November"

Chris mason seems very selective about his opinions. The bbc is not fit for purpose. Where is nandy?
This is how Chris Mason, like a child filled with wonder, described "the choreography and theatre that surrounds a Budget" in Feb 2024, when a male Tory Chancellor was in post.

"Plans, or even just options, can be floated... Reaction to them can be tested. Opponents can be teased or wrongfooted." 👀

Islamophobia is rampant domestically, but the West's withdrawal from the international stage - in terms of military, but also aid and soft power - means more and more countries succumbing to militant Islamist regimes.

How do we square that circle? Absolutely fascinating discussion.

The decisions Labour took will lift 450,000 children out of poverty, driving the largest reduction in child poverty in a single parliament.
