Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

if someone took me aside and said hey rax that dumb flash tattoo you got for $50 when you were 19 is actually a nazi symbol. i would be at the shop getting it covered before they got the sentence all the way out. i would blow red lights the whole way there

I was on verge of getting a Twin Peaks owl symbol tattooed few years back. Realised it was close to a runic symbol that had been picked up by far right.

And Scotland being more about how many votes can SNP and Greens get combined shows you once again we’re a different landscape.
