I'm not saying that voting isn't important. Except for 2005, I have voted in every election since 1996. Since 2006, I've voted Democratic in every primary and general election.

That's 30 years of voting. And here we are, in a soft dictatorship. Voting didn't stop it.

My radical friends were right.

Bruh. I saw this video where this woman said she drinks wine on Zoom calls for work but she blows on the cup so they think it’s coffee.

I’m screaming.😹😹😹

But seriously, I do think we have to examine our connection to the idea of wealth building as one of the primary shackles that keep us attached to colonialism.

I don't think people have to go as far as I have (I'm a minimalist), but those margins do matter.

If wasn't working on my own blog platform, I'd probably give this a shot.

It just looks fun.

If you goal is to be a wealthy person sitting atop expensive possessions while others starve, your goal is not to advance a better world where all are taken care of, & you are a capitalist, & capitalism has come to its dead end so that's why we're moving on, catch up.
I hate to break this to folks who have money. You're gonna have to give what you don't need away. Yes. Let go of the money. There's a lot of people who don't have. We're all we got when states don't take care of us. Yes, to see a better world, you do have to accept not getting rich so all can eat.

Yo.

Like these white men, and their tokens, are really out here torturing children and folks are still going brunch like it’s not happening.

I just can’t square how people really don’t care about these babies.
Children jailed with their families in Dilley, Texas, are describing intense anguish and fear, including a 13-year-old who said, “I feel like I’ll never get out of here. I just ask that you don’t forget about us.”

Hm, I think I was 10 or 11 when it was expected of me to take care of my siblings because my parents were always working.

It’s probably the reason I dont have kids today.
Okay so men on the SL, when was the first time you were told that you needed to take on man/patriarch responsibilities?

Epstein and Bannon engineered the end of the world using online bubbles. Stop letting them tell you bubbles don't work.

They want you to break your groups up. But they stay in their cliques.
The media calls it a bubble as an insult because they know that once a group of people agree, the only thing left to do is take action together.

This is what keeps happening.
The only alternative to this view is in academia.

You cannot find it anywhere in the media. Even though academia does not agree. And I just think that's just so interesting.

A lot of folks define themselves by how much drama they can cause, unfortunately.
Why are we always at war with each other? Aren’t y’all tired smh.

Having dealt with waves of harassment for years, I’m guilty of doing this at times.

I want people to see and be aware of what’s happening, but admittedly I’ve become a bit desensitized to it and share stuff that shouldn’t be getting attention.

And some ppl “mean well” when they do it. They’re not trying to be malicious via telling. But at a certain point, it’s like “what would you like me to do with this information?” If you’ve ever experienced hypervisibility online (or still do now), you/your work etc are insulted daily, so…

One of the reasons I keep to myself is seeing how people react when you treat them like people and they don’t know how to respond.

A lot of folks have become so accustomed to toxicity, that a healthy environment feels painful.
I beg of everyone to stop conflating someone moving with intentionality and clear communication for someone who is thirsty or trying to love bomb you. When you’re dating, it’s normal to receive consistent communication and clear signals that this person genuinely likes you.…

Something I think a lot about is what it would look like Black folks in the US made a collective effort to reconnect with the Motherland and brought all our skills and experience of navigating life in the imperial core with us.

Yes, it would be messy, but I cant help but consider the possibilities

The fact that sex offences committed by the establishment don't get reported on by the press until it's politically convinient to do so has me very confident that Epstein was an aberration and not simply the billionaire who got caught.

the URR was successful imho bc people in community together:

1.Shut the fuck up.

2.Indigeous people would show self Freed people the old trails/ how to read the land

3.Hiding spaces (including under the Adena Mounds)

4.Armed resistance
build these. i'm not joking. the more I read history the more I read how often hiding spaces save lives.
