But seriously, I do think we have to examine our connection to the idea of wealth building as one of the primary shackles that keep us attached to colonialism.
I don't think people have to go as far as I have (I'm a minimalist), but those margins do matter.

If you goal is to be a wealthy person sitting atop expensive possessions while others starve, your goal is not to advance a better world where all are taken care of, & you are a capitalist, & capitalism has come to its dead end so that's why we're moving on, catch up.
I hate to break this to folks who have money. You're gonna have to give what you don't need away. Yes. Let go of the money. There's a lot of people who don't have. We're all we got when states don't take care of us. Yes, to see a better world, you do have to accept not getting rich so all can eat.

One of the reasons I keep to myself is seeing how people react when you treat them like people and they don’t know how to respond.

Something I think a lot about is what it would look like Black folks in the US made a collective effort to reconnect with the Motherland and brought all our skills and experience of navigating life in the imperial core with us.
