9 months later, and I’m happy to report that Musk’s attempt to dismiss this class-action has failed. Let me give you some updates… 🧵
No better way to tell you I'm on Bluesky than to announce that I have brought a class action lawsuit against Elon Musk and AmericaPAC for their fraudulent “lottery” giveaway. Speech is free, but lies you have to pay for.

Voters thought they had a chance to randomly win $1 million as part of Musk's PAC. Musk's own attorneys said the winners were predetermined.

I’m having trouble processing that this is real. But it is extremely real.
Grok now advocating for Adolf Hitler to “deal with” Cindy Steinberg, who by the way is innocent of anything. This is real. It was posted about 30 minutes ago.

If anyone knows the real Cindy Steinberg, I’d be happy to talk to her about her legal options. After defaming her for the past 24 hours, Grok has now acknowledged the situation is a hoax … but it’s also still defaming her every few minutes in separate posts.

If I could define my disdain for mainstream media in one way it would be this: no one gets smarter or more informed about policy/history/procedures from watching CNN. If you forced someone to watch CNN cover a bill for a month, 99% of viewers wouldn't be able to answer basic questions about the bill

Smart move by Newsom. 1) Fox is vulnerable after the Dominion settlement and he chose the right number. 2) with Trump, Musk & the bad faith right weaponizing defamation and libel laws to attack their critics, it’s time liberals and leftists fight (legal) fire with fire. Sue ‘em.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom has filed a $787 million lawsuit against Fox News — accusing Jesse Watters of defamation by falsely claiming that Newsom lied about a phone call with Trump during the Los Angeles protests.

Alex Jones, Benny Johnson, and everyone else in their orbit don't give a shit who this guy really is, and they don't care even a whit about the people he murdered. Their job is to make dumb, fearful people even dumber and more afraid, so they buy sweatshirts and sea moss pills.

The nazi site is full of propaganda from musk on down that the MN assassin is a leftist. At times it feels like radio rwanda, absolutely disturbing
An underappreciated explanation for antitrump politicians’ behavior is that they fear assassination. The more they stand for something, the more death threats they receive. Sometimes they come true. Political systems can’t withstand a constant threat of violence.
Melissa Hortman, who was assassinated last night, was the Speaker of the Minnesota House in the 2023-2024 session, when Democrats ran the state government.

That means she had a leading role in shepherding the many landmark reforms that Dems adopted in that period—an important legacy. Brief 🧵.

This tyrannical "liberate" horseshit is arguably as bad as what she did to Sen. Padilla.
Kristi Noem: "We are not going away. We are staying here to liberate the city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that this governor and that this mayor have placed on this country and what they have tried to insert into the city."

Sen. Alex Padilla is then forcibly removed!

Everything that’s happened over the past six months has been a response to an imaginary crisis. There is no immigrant invasion. No trade crisis. No scientific or governance crisis. Just people completely high off their own supply trying to fundamentally reorder society. None of this had to happen.

New: Elon Musk has deleted some of his harshest recent posts against Donalr Trump, including the one about Jeffrey Epstein and the one endorsing Trump's impeachment

That’s $500k in “non-economic” damages. In other words, it lets you seek $500k for the emotional agony of viewing pornography. But here in my home state of Texas, if medical negligence results in the paralysis of your child, you’re limited to $250k for your anguish.
A new Mississippi law will anyone in the state to sue someone who posts "hardcore pornography" on the internet — up to $500,000 in damages.

Focus on the Family, the right-wing evangelical group behind the censorship bill, say it are the next step in attacking porn after age-verification.

This is the shit I am on. America, at least, has moved into a widespread culture of participatory make-believe, where anyone can join into a community that enables them to actively imagine their own version of reality with the full support of social, cultural, media, and political institutions
Conspiracy theories are hardly ever about the thing they purport to be about. Conspiracy theories are license to disbelieve anything and everything you want, to make up your own version of reality that is unassailable.
