West Virginia’s charter schools system is under a permanent injunction after a circuit judge’s Thursday ruling in a case stretching back several years.

The state Supreme Court has pumped the brakes on a Raleigh County circuit judge’s recent ruling in a case with statewide implications about religious exemptions to West Virginia’s school vaccination requirements.

The Marion County Democrats hosted our third annual Democracy Dinner tonight, and it was a smash success! More ticket sales, more attendees, more funds raised - and importantly, we also raised about $1200 for local food banks.
