Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.

Basically, when there's a low chance of something happening *multiple times*, the chance that it happens *at all* goes up a lot faster than we intuitively feel it should. /1

In real life, one in 500 kids who catches measles will die. And because measles is an asshole, some of them will die six to eight years later, of untreatable, incurable neurological conditions left as a parting gift by the virus.

Ah yes that word illegal. You can’t make ppl PAY for a document to vote… it violates the constitution, so no SAVE Act!

Okay look I'm glad they're ditching Flock but if the "city's network of surveillance cameras" can still be subpoenaed by out of state law enforcement for things like "did a woman come here to get an abortion from our state" then we shouldn't have them at all, period.
