Someone emailed me asking if I knew why Donkey Kong throws barrels and I was like "Well obviously it's because..." and then I wasn't actually sure why, aside from the fact that they roll and would be something you might see on a construction site. Did barrel throwing happen before Donkey Kong?

I got a pebble in my shoe. I took it off to shake it out but added some pebbles instead. After a few minutes of walking, the pain was pretty bad so I threw some pebbles in my other shoe. When it became unbearable, I strapped cheese graters to my feet. Anyway, that’s what watching the news is like.
