'Why aren't they in the streets' is answered almost every day in my small town by people in the streets! Rather than asking 'why aren't they in the streets' it's worth asking 'why isn't your media showing them in the streets' and 'who is served by downplaying resistane in its myriad forms.'
The idea that there are no protests in the US and no one is standing up to Trump is proving incredibly hard to kill over here in Germany. It’s become dogma, utterly detached from empirical reality.

For every social problem, it is cheaper to find a vaguely related thing to ban than to actually solve anything.

It's been pretty eye opening to see just how corrupt the world media organizations are. With no effective way to police what they choose to publish or not, any news that the owner doesn't approve of just vanishes. And fake stories that they like get published like unvarnished truth.

To be fair, I attended TAMU as an undergrad and I'm surprised they let a course on ethics stick around this long.
Texas A&M decided to publicly cancel my Ethics class, and share a false statement that I declined to provide information, which made it impossible for [them ] to request an exemption. See for yourself, if this statement is true.

Oh, I spotted another one recently- I've seen a lot of Army recruitment ads featuring a woman talking proudly about her service and doing things like placing her diploma on the wall.

Just to play devil’s advocate for just a second: even if you are opposed to illegal immigration, the fact of the matter is that you do not need people with rifles and tear gas cannons to handle people here on overdue VISAs. That’s like treating speeding with land mines.
Anything less than abolishing ICE is unacceptable. I don't want to hear people talk about training these motherfuckers or throwing more money at them. The entire institution needs to be permanently disbanded. Do not let politicians sell you on anything less.

Heavy blacks are great at implying lots of detail on mechanical devices without actually drawing all the details.
All the best illustrators you have ever known or heard of, whether they admit to it or not, likely make heavy use of reference. Use it. Even if your style is more abstract, the advice still applies.
