i can't believe that people take twitter inflated view counts literally and at face value
A racist TV show made with the assistance of Sora has attracted millions of viewers. Tyler Austin Harper argues that it could be “the harbinger of a new entertainment landscape where extremist AI shows will jockey for our attention with more anodyne ones”:
The Will Stancil Show Could Be the Future
A racist TV series making fun of a minor social-media celebrity has attracted millions of viewers—and demonstrates the alarming possibilities of AI.

I’ll run the cumulative numbers when I get home but here’s the voted cast today in TN07

Davidson - 2972
Williamson - 1783
Montgomery - 1525

Rest of TN07: 3382

Honestly very strong turnout in the district considering the reduced hours, 76% of yesterday in the rurals

whatever the response that the GOP has to the outcome of the TN-07 special, their reaction shouldn't be to "gerrymander more"

i do not think that they are that smart

It's honestly only depressing to me until I think about the largest pandemic in century and having the best showing of any incumbent govt post-pandemic 🤷
God this is so depressing given the political response to it

i don't get how people watched zohran's campaign and got the impression that he was anything but a massive YIMBY
I mostly stay off twitter but I occasionally go back because all the left NIMBYs stayed. The complete copefest going on over Mamdani putting YIMBYs on his housing transition team has been chicken noodle soup for the soul.

Sticking at 25%!
I’d give Democrats about a 25% chance of flipping TN-07. Thank you to Republicans for scheduling it on some random Tuesday in December.

How Tennessee's 7th Congressional District voted by county in 2024 House election

Matt Van Epps (R) vs Aftyn Behn (D) in Dec. 2 special election to succeed ex-Rep. Mark Green (R) #TN7 #TN07
November 26, 2025 at 6:03 PM
the emerson sample is trump+13, and they got van epps+2
as @djsoke.bsky.social pointed out emerson isn't weighing on recall vote like they did for the governor races a few weeks ago. so will be interesting to see how accurate they are
Emerson poll | 11/22-11/24 LV

Tennessee’s 7th congressional special election (Trump +22)

(Leaners pushed)
🟥Matt Van Epps 49.4%
🟦Aftyn Behn 47.0%
Others 3.5%

#TN07 might become a big problem for Republicans:
-Trump's approval is at 47% to 49% disapproval in a district he won by 22 points
-Aftyn Behn is only down two points to Matt Van Epps
-Trump is pushing Van Epps and his super PAC is dumping money in there

There was definitely a difference in methodology though; in NJ Emerson was weighting to both 2021 and 2024, so the polled “electorate” was Murphy+3, Harris+6 - not even close to the actual electorate

This time they didn’t weight LVs to 2024, so no assumptions here 🙂‍↔️
Emerson also undershot Sherrill’s margin… so 👀

penultimate look at EV from TN07, though who knows if we get the full EV update tomorrow or not

Almost 75k votes cast, up 147% from the primary and 23% of 2024's total votes

Davidson is still slightly ahead of the CD overall, but it's also got much of today all to itself

this poll is cool and all but could it please be from somebody other than Emerson college

Fabien Levy says Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani's decision to give notices to these Adams admin officials is "a massive loss for New Yorkers."

Should be noted Adams has on the way out been taking steps to stymie Mamdani's agenda, including via expected RGB appointments.

RW media really seems to be pushing this clip a lot, and i honestly think that it is a mistake

this is a culture war play fundamentally, and the more they focus on it, the more aftyn behn gets an edge on economic messaging
“Come as you are" doesn’t apply to bachelorettes and tourists

We love Nashville, Van Epps loves Nashville, Aftyn Behn says she hates it!

Don’t vote for a party pooper

Vote for Van Epps, early voting is now - 26th!

"swamp the vote" is a terrible phrase btw

like, if your whole thing is "drain the swamp" why would you want more swamp in any context

Fitting that the swampiest of all would call on them to “swamp the vote”
