I have said before and will say again that it is such a loss that we no longer get covers of this caliber for fantasy books.

This is a huge problem, and I don't know how to solve it. I once met with a student outside of class *3* times (as an adjunct with no office hours) to repeat the same criticisms of the same drawings that they refused to alter for a project that was worth a full 3rd of their grade.
An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.
