Hi, I’m a website, product, or service you’ve relied on for years without incident. Great news: I’ve now been revamped with a mandatory AI component that makes me unusable.

Don’t be distracted. The regime keeps making its own news so we don’t revolt. Focus on issues such as:

1) Supporting Russia is bad for America. Putin is evil. It is in our best interest to aid Ukraine.

2) Tariffs lead to higher costs for consumers. The cost of groceries is noticeably higher.

They gobbled up all the info, destroyed so many agencies, and how did it help America and Trump's base?

It didn't.

In 1945, the US Army put out a training manual intended to help rank and file soldiers spot incipient fascism in the US. One of the telltale signs that one was dealing with a fascist was that they called everyone to their left "a communist." bsky.app/profile/seth...
The third fascistic tactic to watch out for is their tendency to label anyone they disagree with who is to their left "a Communist." Fascists claim that they alone can save their nations from "the communist menace." Anyway, the 2024 GOP platform contains the phrase "Christ-hating communists."

Any recommendations on academic literature or sources for better understanding the energy and water tradeoffs for data storage vs agriculture?

Thanks in advance!

I think about this every day. Great that I know people who stand on “ICE Watch” with whistles, but how are we continuing to let this happen every single day?
Astonishing to stop and realize that, at any given moment, bands of masked men armed to the teeth are storming churches and daycares, terrorizing entire communities—and that most of the country's political establishment barely blinks.

A bit more information has been released on the Dali accident, where it turns out a loose wire led to six deaths and this surreal scene.

I wouldn't focus on the wire though - there's whole realms of misteps and oversights that ultimately allowed this to happen.

Choosing to go to LPSC now that they've doubled down on banning any content about making the field a better place for underrepresented scientists? That would be rewarding this behavior and make the field even more unsafe! Just a thought!

7 years ago I wrote a poem called Proxima Centauri B about how commercial space exploration is nothing but a distraction from rampant ecological destruction, but never published it till today.

Amber Czech was a 20 yr old young woman who had her whole life ahead of her. Talented welder, well liked by all.

Except for a 40 year old male co-worker. And bc she gave him a "bad" look, he took her life while they were on the clock.

When will we ever be safe?

Say her name, Amber Czech.

The ultimate test of our country and democracy will not be voting or elections but whether we put all of these people behind bars or not.

No blue wave or whatever will matter if we once again give impunity to these criminals and murderers.
