Here you go.

Please don’t think this beltway game of having retiring Dem senators vote yes while everyone else votes no is going to shield leadership from the end result. We see what is happening and can’t be fooled by those games.

I just want to say to left of center Americans: it doesn't have to feel like this. There really is another way. Replace Schumer with a movement leader – someone who sees a bigger gameboard and brings mass politics to bear. This is insane, pathetic, unforced. Look to movements for a roadmap.

More than 2,800 flights were canceled Sunday, while Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy said the shutdown’s impact on airports is “only going to get worse.”

These 8 useless Democratic Senators are all wealthy and have feathered themselves a lovely retirement nest.

They don't need to be in these positions anymore.

They can amble away into the privileged nothingness that defines their spinelessness and lack of courage.

Demand more and better, folks.

Maybe I’m late to this realization, but it just hit me…

What are the odds that Speaker Johnson calls the House back for a CR vote with the Epstein files still hanging over his head?

Those 8 Dems might have hung themselves out to dry and risked being primaried for nothing.

Issue is that housing, health and childcare are stand out costs aka things that require public goods. We really need to reread the affluent society.
This is false in every way that matters (except wealth gap)
True, but with wages not keeping up with inflation & the wealth gap increasing, the American dream is further out of reach for the younger generations. A family of four could live on a single income, buy a modest home, have a vehicle, a couple kids & an annual vacation.

Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.

Russians are avoiding long-term deposits due to distrust of the banking system and economic instability.

As economic collapse looms and the 1990s comes up more often, 3-month bank deposits are now over 33% of all deposits, and year-plus are below 7%.

Make Russia broke again.

Dem leaders like Schumer and Jeffries are playing by rules that don't exist anymore. They're predicated on the assumption that everyone has the same moral aptitude to do what is right for the majority, even if they disagree and are in the minority. And that.. just doesn't happen anymore.
