Textbook. If you are surprised, it is because this shit usually, at least not in the last 150 years, does not happen in the US. And the past is mild in comparison

This rings true. None of the current cabinet are acting as if there will ever be a transfer of power.
She doesn't fear consequences, none of them do. That should tell us that something is very wrong. They don't think the regime will ever change. They are actively working to make sure it doesn't.

The Republican-controlled US Senate is expected to vote Tuesday on a Democratic resolution aimed at overturning a major tax giveaway to large corporations that the Trump administration quietly implemented last year without congressional approval.
Resolution Aims to Undo ‘Hidden’ $10 Billion Trump Tax Giveaway to Massive Corporations | Common Dreams
"Congress must not accept this unjustifiable, $10.3 billion giveaway," said the office of Sen. Ron Wyden, who is leading the repeal effort.

Good point about the survivors' names being exposed.
Rep. Raskin: "Releasing the names of a lot of victims is either spectacular incompetence and sloppiness on [DOJ's] part or, as a lot of the survivors believe, a deliberate threat to other survivors who are thinking about coming forward."

And yet, no one asks Republicans how they will pay for tax cuts or military spending or paramilitaries the way they ask how Democrats will pay for reducing child poverty or student loan debt relief.

No matter what Republicans do, they are still treated as "deficit hawks":

Rep. Raskin to Pam Bondi: "You've not showing a lot of interest in the victims…As Attorney General, you're siding with the perpetrators and ignoring the victims. That will be your legacy…You're running a massive Epstein cover-up right out of the DOJ."

Invoking wealthy class solidarity to excuse sex crimes against children is sorta the Epstein Class in a nutshell
Bondi crashes out over Epstein: "The Dow is over 50,000 dollars! I don't know why you're laughing. You're a great stock trader as I hear, Raskin. The Dow is over 50,000 right now. The S&P at almost 7,000, and the Nasdaq smashing records. That's what we should be talking about."

Amazon's U.S. tax bill dropped by 87% in 2025, mostly thanks to Trump's tax cuts.

Meanwhile, its profits jumped by 45% to nearly $90 billion — and it announced 30,000 job cuts.

Is this the world we want to live in?

Prisons are for people who've been CONVICTED of crimes.

Most people in these warehouses - without proper food or sanitation or worse - haven't even been CHARGED with crimes.

And thousands are CHILDREN.

This will be another of America's greatest shames.
