I get asked about this a lot re. DEI language in federal grants, and @erinbiba.bsky.social talked about it the other day re. vaccine access, but to me it is always morally justifiable to work around their hate-based keyword searches (even to lie) in order to ensure the vulnerable are still protected

Not gonna lie, after finding out about Louis Prevost's posts on Facebook I can't help but wonder if Pope Leo XVI's comments on "disarm[ing] communication of all prejudice and resentment, fanaticism and even hatred" is coming out of personal experience. If so, I feel for him.
