Unlocked a memory of my fifth grade class's colonial newspaper project, in which my best friend and I created a Dilbert knockoff called Gilbert about a guy with an unruly cravat

Has the explosion of AI and vocal deepfakes changed any of your archives' policies around making audio/video downloadable from your digital repository? This came up in a meeting yesterday and we are leaning toward making files available only on request. I hate that we have to think about this.

If only we had some sort of historical precedent that could help us understand what might happen when a constellation of highly militarized far right governments, organized around an angry and resentful, blood and soil version of nationalism, emerges and tries to remake the world in their image.
