The government has rejected calls by its OWN independent Migration Advisory Committee for visa reforms to protect migrant farm workers from exploitation

Labour seems wedded to a model of immigration based on creating a subclass of exploited worker.
It's sick.

"Palestinian witnesses have reported that some prisoners were alive at the time they were taken for organ extraction. In one batch of bodies, the organs removed were those commonly transplanted: heart, liver, lungs... Here, the surgeon acts as—is—a soldier."

I'm honestly speechless.

When he ran Labour Together, Cabinet Office minister Josh Simons hired a PR firm to investigate journalists

After our revelations, and a flurry of news stories, Simons finally gave his side of the story

But it doesn't seem to tally with the facts... 🧵

Cabinet Office minister hired a PR firm to investigate journalists. His explanation is bewildering - and begs one big question. How can Starmer keep him on?

McFadden is right, the media is just as culpable when it comes to Mandelson & that includes Kuenssberg (e.g. he was on #bbclaurak twice in 2024 & LK didn't ask him about Epstein either time)

This is a warning by McFadden, of course. Press me too much & I'll cover you in sh*t too

This is true but we should recall that *the entire point of the McSweeney Labour project* was to restore public indifference to politics, and to fight a low-stakes, low-engagement, low-turnout election, specifically so that the lads could go back to agreeing policy with donors offscreen.

This line Starmer's supporters keep reciting about him being "a decent man" is honestly just disgusting to me.

A self-degrading thing to say out loud.
When I paid my annual subscription for “Force-feeding the British public Peter Mandelson’s sleaze in ten easy steps,”, I did not expect that the British public would then be force-fed Mandelson’s sleaze. This is an outrage and a tragedy

This may indeed be the actual death of neoliberalism.
