I mentioned this briefly in my last blog post, but MAME has made some pretty incredible improvements to Sega Model 2 emulation in the last few versions, today's update added texture filtering that was previously missing
I have no doubt that MAME will be the new best option for Model 2 very soon

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection does not make use of AI upscaled or generated art. The fully 3D assets can be seen in the game's main menu animation. These were rendered out in 2D for the scrolling backgrounds seen in the timelines and other areas.

Just tried it on Switch, holy shit how did they mess up the steering this bad
I promise I'm trying but there's barely any input smoothing, and the sensitivity setting doesn't help at all
The double-tap to wheelie almost never works either, it just doesn't register inputs

After liking what I've played of Underground 2 so far, my new conclusion is that Black Box had something great with Underground, so they just kept adding new things to that formula with every subsequent game (aside from ProStreet), and for me it was already too much with Most Wanted tbh
I've slowly come to the conclusion that I just don't like the Black Box Need for Speed games in general, Underground 1 I liked enough to finish but anything after that (and their version of Hot Pursuit 2) I just can't get into, and with Carbon in particular I honestly prefer Own the City on PSP
