TIL, #linux has a couple cli #downloader options that are faster than wget like Axel. Axel wasn't that much faster than #wget for me, so then I found aria2; much more powerful and reliable, and faster too: github.com/aria2/aria2

My decision to tolerate people who screw up and say dumb stuff doesn't come from having a lack of a spine. It comes from a place of realizing the people around me arent without flaws and ignorance. I had to learn to work with it or just be a miserable person to be around.
