My heart hurts for all the families impacted by another act of gun violence. It doesn’t have to be this way, we need to take action.

It was a packed gathering today in Rochester in solidarity with the Somali community. Many had to be turned away.

When Minnesota Republican elected officials can’t condemn what Nazis take credit for and celebrate, we have a big problem.

Well said, Senate colleagues.
Dehumanization of any of us hurts all of us.
We call on Republican legislators to publicly repudiate President Trump’s hateful, dehumanizing statements about Minnesota’s Somali community.

“Dehumanization is not abstract. It is a precursor to violence.”

Donald Trump’s disgraceful attacks on Minnesota’s Somali community are injecting more of his poisonous racism into our beloved home state. Hearing him single out our people based solely on their race and country of origin is downright disgusting.

If this is real, it is very serious.
Let’s talk about ICE. This post is long, but it’s worth reading to understand how to protect your right to privacy.

It might sound extreme, but everyday Americans may soon want to consider face coverings for reasons far beyond health or fashion.

Watching Republicans try to spin this as an oligarch funded event: Absolutely fucking priceless.
Ernst: "I think it is extremely important that we look at who is funding these protests. We have to get to the bottom of this. It could be the usual suspect -- George Soros."

When MN House Dems denied quorum last winter (so Repubs could not steal power), MN House Repubs said we were "not doing [our] jobs," and "should not be paid."
Are we hearing that from them now. 🤔
The government shut down on October 1st.

House Republicans have not held a single vote since September 19th.

And they have extended their vacation and canceled votes for this coming week.

Hey, Republicans, please explain. Is your Great Leader mentally well?
and another thing: he’s not mad. please don’t put it in the newspaper that he got mad.
