I planned on becoming a veterinarian since childhood but when I went to tour the school it was such a depressing campus and they said they “didn’t have an art department” and I basically realized I couldn’t just stop doing art. Realized my dream was in animation so I went to years of school for that

When covid first hit, I had the biggest anxiety, nightmares everything, the feeling that something awful was coming closer and closer and there was nothing to do but hunker down and wait. And now it still sorta feels like that but with, like, everything 🫠

So, I have a version of Toonboom Harmony that is, somewhat less than legitimately acquired 🏴☠️… there was a recent windows update that seems to have screwed up easy access to it. Like I can use it if I turn off internet and change my computer clock to before Sept but like, does anyone know of a /

I did it! For the record this is a much larger resolution than I usually work in, I think it’s about 20x20 at 300 mdpi, because I want to be able to zoom in to where the characters are seated around the fire, with different layers for parallaxes. So it was a PITA to change it all for autumn lol

Head supervisor (?) guy at my job LOVES ai. Told the whole company he spent much of the weekend listening to ai “soul” music. Swallow that irony. People should be openly mocked for saying these things in public.

I really need to find a new job. My agency keeps cutting costs and relying more and more on ai and I just feel like that is not sustainable for a business, plus to me it is existentially horrifying.

I genuinely hate Chuck Schumer more than I hate Trump. Trump is far more evil and is totally irredeemable but Schumer is one of the most pathetic and loathsome worms to ever breathe air, and on top of that, in his incompetence, he regularly HELPS the irredeemably evil.

This is really good to see: Miki Sherrill just put out a statement sharply criticizing the Senate Dems' pending cave in the government shutdown, ripping it as "malpractice" and a betrayal of the people who are "counting on us to fight for them." Sherrill knows what drove her victory. Wake up, Dems.
